At Badger & Bean and Badgers @ No. 7 (Badgers Deli), we are proud to be part of the local community and are committed to running our café in a way that is environmentally, socially, and economically responsible.  We aim to minimise our impact on the planet, support local producers, and contribute positively to Howden’s economy and community.

Environmental Responsibility

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact by:

• Reducing food waste through careful stock management.
• Using recyclable, compostable, or reusable packaging wherever possible.
• Sourcing ingredients locally to reduce transport emissions and support nearby farms and businesses.
• Minimising energy and water use by using efficient equipment and daily checks.
• Encouraging customers to bring reusable cups and containers.

Social Responsibility

Our community matters. We will:
