Every restaurant has their own "wild menu" and it always consists of venison with amongst other things spaetzle, red cabbage & chestnuts.
After living in Switzerland for 15 years, one of the things I miss most (other than friends) is the rhythm of the seasons. The Swiss have a season for most things, particularly food, and when the nights draw in and the smell of wood smoke hangs in the air, the Game or "Wild" season starts.
